I will stamp all over 'credible fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be shown live on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.

Former twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul instead criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

Still, the novice is still one of boxing's largest financial successes, regularly earning huge financial rewards.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually happening.
